WaterShed Cafe & Books

The primary vision of the Watershed Cafe and Books is a gathering place and outreach for the general community. We offer a warm welcoming atmosphere; quality refreshments, selected high value books and media, and sponsored events that are both family-friendly and wholesome.

Additionally we offer free Internet access for those who have laptops, and WIFI enabled devices.

Teaching Outreach

Spiritual edification and enrichment is an important component of the Watershed Vision. Currently we offer the two classes open to the general public.

On Saturday morning a Women's Class titled “Drawing from the Well” meets at  9am.

On Wednesday Evenings at 7 pm The Watershed features "The Wellsprings School of Ministry" and is open for all to participate.

All classes are Bible-Centric and generally follow a format of chapter by chapter though the Bible. It is our intention to introduce other classes as they become available. Look to our website for additional listings, scheduling and time changes.

Events

All events offered to the general public are admission free, have a spiritual component and are Christian based. As a rule, movies and concerts will be offered on Friday and Saturday evenings. Our regular in-house events such as Bible classes and workshops are currently weekday evening events.

Meetings

The WaterShed Café and Books is available for meetings to the general community for private, church or business use. Our “Events Room” provides ample space for small to midsize meetings. Please inquire as to availability and schedules. All WaterShed events supersede outside scheduling.

Our Bookstore

We offer selected books and media that conform to the vision of the Watershed Cafe and Books. All materials are hand selected, high quality and Christian oriented. The material we select has a goal of personal spiritual growth, family and youth oriented encouragement.

WaterShed Book Club

The Book Club meets for extended discussion of the current read on a selected date after completion of the book. All dates and times will be announced at the coffeehouse and on our website. Selected Books will be available in the bookstore.

Resources

It is our desire to facilitate resources beyond the reach of the Watershed Cafe and Books. Currently we are developing a "Helps" program that will guide those in need, to resources that we do not provide. These resources though generally private may include governmental and institutional help. This "Helps" program will include partnerships with those that provide the resources.

Support

Watershed Cafe and Books is a nonprofit 501-3(c) Corporation. All revenues by the concessions, bookstore and sales, support the coffeehouse structure. Other means of revenue are private contributors in partnership with the Watershed Cafe and Books. All donations are fully tax deductible. Currently we have an all volunteer staff.
